Preview: Game Seven

Tonight at 8:00 p.m. MLB fans will witness the seventh and final game of the World Series between the Kansas City Royals and the San Francisco Giants.

For Jacquie Reiser, a busy student-athlete at Michigan State University, tonight will mark her first night off in weeks and she is looking forward to spending it watching the Series.

Reiser plays second base for the Spartans and has been around baseball and softball for most of her life.

Reiser was born and raised in New York and is a die hard Yankee fan so she doesn’t particularly care about either team but she has chosen to root for the Royals tonight, the underdogs of the Series.

“I love an underdog,” Reiser said when asked to explain her reasoning.

The Royals won game six by a landslide with a score of 10-0, which makes tonights game the deciding factor seeing as both teams are currently tied at three wins each.
