Staying in the dorms for two years, as MSU’s website recommends, is shown to have positive effects on students grades. The dorms also allow students the opportunity to meet new people and get involved with events on campus.
But, this lifestyle may not be for everyone.
While many students enjoy some aspects of dorm living for people like Katie Sharp, the idea of having their own space is tempting enough to move away.
